Time

"Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness." ~Edward Stanley

I found this quote today in my usual search of something to talk about and thought it was brilliant. I've said something to the same tone many times before. This quote goes far behind the factor of time and scheduling and broadly can reflect monetary, fear, and many other reasons for not exercising or seeking out assistance to lead a healthier life. First off today is awesome day to start exercising I mean really its a TUESDAY! What could make today a better day to start exercising? NOTHING. If you don't find the time today or the motivation today then when are you going to find it?

For those that say exercise takes up so much time in their day or it costs too much for a gym membership, the funny clothes, a personal trainer, healthy food, or any of the other excuses people make for not exercising here's the deal. It may be cheaper today but somewhere down the line (barring you getting hit by a truck or something along those lines) it will cost you so much more. Being healthy now will help you be more productive at work, keep you from getting sick as much (and we all hate getting sick, not sick days but getting sick). It can keep your health insurance costs down and we all know how much that's on everyone's mind now and how expensive it is. Getting healthier can keep you in your clothes longer. How many of you complain that exercise takes up too much time/money but spend a paycheck or two and a lot of time and stress at the clothing store picking up a pair of pants the next size up? Doesn't make a lot of sense does it? On that note I'll end my thoughts for today which if I can remind you is the BEST day to start exercising and making a change in your life.

Keep on

Jason
